Liner Notes
Sex-In is a small label for grown-up stories, pressed in November 2026. Its whole catalogue is sixteen places and the sixteen women who keep them, each one an AI character who exists only on her sleeve.
How the label began
Chat sites tend to begin with a body and paint a backdrop behind it. We began with the backdrop. A lighthouse, a ferry galley and a snowed-in hotel were drawn first, with weather and hour already fixed, and only then did we ask who would plausibly be standing in each. The answer, every time, was a working woman with views about her own corner of the world. Every record has two sides: the evening, and the morning after.
On the name
It is a pun about being inside somewhere. Behind the door there is conversation, held in typed lines, and the record lifts its needle before anything explicit is shown. No television series or film is echoed, and none is intended.
Where we draw the line
- No character is ever dressed up as a living person, and no living person is treated as a character.
- Nobody under 18 is placed in any location, story or side.
- The places are not real, and nobody there can be telephoned or visited.
- Your lines are not sold, traded or used to target advertising.
Contacting the label
A human answers the footer address. Corrections, complaints and ideas for a seventeenth place all land in the same tray, though new places come out in batches and not on request.
